Wow! I cannot beleive you guys made it, that is awesome. Scott and I also flew out of BWI to Tulsa for the holidays and missed our bus to and from the parking garage by seconds thinking we would almost miss our flight on the way out.

I think you and Jeff gave it more effort than we did though!

Ugh, Kate. That sounds awful. I don't know if I could have done that drive alone in the middle of the night. That's tough. But I'm glad you made it home for Christmas. Hope you got a few Hoo-Hooty-Hoos in.

You two got lucky! I managed to spend 8.5 hours in Logan airport, just to have my flight cancelled at 2 a.m. Then the next night I got out on a different flight & made it to Charlotte, but Corey's flight was delayed 2.5 hrs and he missed his connection from Atlanta to Charlotte. I was waiting for him w/ our rental car in Charlotte at 1 a.m. when I found out he missed the connection, and wouldn't be able to get to Charlotte until 6 pm the following day. So I started driving.... I drove from CLT to ATL from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., picked him up, and we drove to Asheville for Christmas.
I'll have to admit, I wasn't so zen. But hey, we made it, and we even sang some Christmas carols on the way.

Run, Forest! Actually, that's awesome you caught up. I know I was (an still am) carrying oh, about 10 extra pounds of holiday goodness around my bottom half - I definitely would have said "see ya!"

Yeah, we were totally coughing and hacking the entire bus ride. I'm sure our fellow passengers loved us. Glad you made your flight!

Ugh... I know that feeling. I flew into Denver last week a half hour late and got off the plane just as my next flight to Colorado Springs was boarding. That's when I discovered that my next flight left from gate B89 and I had just come in at gate B15. What can be more fun than racing through a huge airport with a heavy backpack at a mile high after spending a week at sea level? Thankfully I made my flight (very sweating and gasping for air) and coughed and hacked my way through the short flight to Co. Springs. But these are the things that make life interesting, right? At least it gives you good storied to tell :)

Theresa left out the part right before she saw me where I was standing in the road in front of the bus commanding it to stop. The bus driver lady waving her arms frantically for me to get out of the road and her apparent lack of brakes convinced me to get out of the way though, and I looked across the road after it passed and there stood Theresa. I could only shrug. Then we ran some more.
