I have never been to the Grand Canyon, but your blog gives me a lot of ideas, and it is now on my "things to do before I die" list. Thanks so much!!

No one wants to comment on the Grand Canyon. I'm shocked.

I don't think I really "got" the Grand Canyon when I went there on the family trip. I'm trying to talk myself into going back at some point, but I'm sensing I might get it this next time, but I don't I would really care.

Having said all those mean things about the GC, I still think it would be pretty killer to raft it, and, yes, I am a sucker for The River Wild when it comes on TV.

For the record, any trip heading West is going to take me well north of that area. Say north of I-70(Denver) to the Canadian Border.

Everyone poops! And quite honestly urinating on tree is quite liberating for me.

I think the "bathroom situation" could end up on a lot of lowlight lists on this upcoming trip. Eeek, I cringe to think about it.
