Just to be clear, we’re not having any doubts about leaving. This is just a list of reasons we could use to justify not going or issues that other people have brought up as to why now might not be the best time. The truth is no time is a good time and every time is a good time. It all depends on your perspective.

Traveling & adventure isn’t about being logical or sensible. The pro’s vs. the con’s list of leaving will always technically leave you with more con’s. Don’t go there.

My resolve to travel was shaken a bit as the economy began to stagger.

But ultimately I realized there is no perfect time to go, there is only now.

If I were you, my biggest concern would be finding a country I really like so I’d have somewhere to hang out/move permanently once this mortgage crisis wrecks havoc (Greg know what word works better there) on the American economy.
