I would like to see more posts about food. Food is awesome. You should write about food. We hear about where you go, who you meet, how you get there, what animals you see, but little (unless I overlooked it) about food.

Yes, QuetzalTrekkers does rock! You should have done the 2-day El Hoyo hike which includes Cerro Negro, El Hoyo, and the laguna. But Cerro Negro is still pretty cool by itself. As for the “volcano boarding”, it costs more money plus you don’t get to go into the crater plus you still have to pay the entrance fee. Do the Telica full moon hike if you get a chance…
