Admission to CD on a regular day of racing is a couple bucks. CD is synonymous with thoroughbred racing. Oh yeah, it has its own rich history as well. I'll be waiting for when the world turns its collective eyes to the Hipodromo on the first Saturday of some spring month. It may very well be a great place (and I'll surely check it out if I'm ever in Buenos Aires) but it doesn't hold a candle to CD. Cheers from Louisville, KY Josh! PLEASE! Perhaps you ought to read the history of this famous race track in Argentina first. And let me add, the building itself is magnificent and the fact that you did not even have to pay admission should make you a bit more humble because I doubt it very much that at CD you would not have to pay admission to get in. Watch the movie "DOWN ARGENTINE WAY" a Hollywood flick form the 1940's and you will see why this HIPODROMO was and still is one of the most magnificent around the world.
