FURTHER EXPLANATION

  • The 160 Namibian dollars included in transporation cost is the fee for crossing the border with a car. We did not yet have pula, so they let us pay in Namibian dollars

SAMPLE PRICES

  • Overnight Mekoro Trip + 2 additional nights camping at Okavango Poler’s Trust: 1,150 Pula + 970 Namibian. The exchange rate wasn’t great for the Namibian dollars, but we didn’t have enough pula to pay for it all, so we did a bit of each. They also would have taken U.S. dollars.
  • Guided walk around Tsodilo Hills: 50 pula
